The flash plugins default security settings block the necessary interactions between the flash plugin and the other parts of the AutoView system when a presentation is being played from a CD or hard disk. In some cases this will trigger a security warning, in others the slide/subtitle synchronization will simply fail to work.
In order to fix this problem, you need to access the flash Global Security Settings panel (click link to open). You should then add the folder or drive containing the exported presentation(s) to the list of trusted locations by clicking 'Edit locations', selecting 'Add Location' and then browsing for the relevant folder path.
Unfortunately, there is very little we can do to work around this restriction in Flash, so if you are planning to regularly distribute AutoView presentations on CD/DVD, we recommend the use of a Video plugin which does not suffer from this restriction (eg Real Player or Windows Media Player).
