Hi Tim
I don't know this is a relevant forum to ask my question.But I feel that you have lot of information about Helix DNA server.I Installed Helix DNA server on windows machine and struggling to configure it to play real video.Please help me.How can I configure Helix DNA server to play real video.But in the Helix community site it says that real video and real audio streaming is free.When I try to stream I get error as "The server is not configured to play the media'.
If you can give me any information regarding this .I will be thankful to you.

I am running my own RealServer and have also installed Helix Server for a university.

I might be able to help. I suggest you contact me on my email address. As tomorrow, we have a holiday here, I won't be back in the office before Thursday.

You need get the paid-for version of Helix Server to stream Real or Windows media content, see http://www.realnetworks.com/products/media_delivery.html . If you haven't got the paid for version, then the codecs required to stream Real Player content are missing and it won't work. Real used to do a very limited free version of the server with codecs (restricted to RV10 codec and 5 simultaneous streams), but that seems to have vanished from the website.
