When I installed the latest autoview, database setup part went fine. However, when I went into the configuration screen or tried to setup a activity, the name show up as follow.

[[modulename]]

[[pecl_http_warn]]

[[noxsl]]

[[confignote]] [[confignote2]] [[confignote3]]

[[configconversionurl]] (autoview_conversionurl):
[[configconversionkey]] (autoview_conversionkey) :
[[configlivecapture]] (autoview_livecapture) :
[[configflashserver]] (autoview_flashserver) :

Can you help me to fix this problem? I am novice to moodle and cannot figure out why this is showing up this way. I am running 1.8.4.

Thanks

You haven't copied the language file into the Moodle lang directory as per the installation instructions. The next release will have the language file incorporated into the module so this step will be unnecessary.

Thank you for the reply.

I did put the autoview.php file into /[moodle install dir]/lang/en_utf8/ directory. Should that be in another directory? There is an en under lang directory, but no file is in it.

Thanks

That seems to be the correct directory, however the symptoms you describe are what I would expect if this file can't be found or is unreadable. It's probably worth checking the file permissions to make sure the webserver process can read the file.

Place lang file in to moodle/lang/en_utf8
