unconsistent XSL between test.php vs activity
by Frédéric Despoix - Monday, 13 April 2009, 9:04 PM

Hello
the Autoview would be very beneficial to my project. As a newbie, it took me time to install pecl_http and xls (test platform, php5 and Ubuntu 8).
The file test.php reports an operating XSL module.
Back to moodle in edit mode, the activity reports that XSL parser is not valid.
In moodle plugin control, it reports no valid XSL parser, nor pecl_http (I left the fields blank unchanged).
Where should I start to look into ?

Thanks, fred

pecl_http isn't necessary unless you are using a document conversion service, this is something which hasn't been documented right now so don't worry about it.

As for the XSL parser, which one does the test.php report as being available ? I would expect the XSL parser to be a package available on the Ubuntu install CD, not sure what they call it though, the readme file gives the name of the CentOS version which is probably similar.

(Note away for the next week, but I will come back to this when I return if you haven't solved the problem)
