You probably forgot to install the language file in the correct Moodle directory. I'm intending to move this into the module directory, Moodle seems to be able to cope with this now, which should make the installation simpler.

Hi Yong Ra...

I just placed the files in to the specified folders ..........

place whole auto view folder in moodle/mod folder

copy autoview.php from autoview-module\lang\en_utf8 and past it to your moodle\lang\en_utf8 folder.

now go to your web site and click on Notification.

You can't use slides in PPT format directly, they must be converted to Flash using the Flash export function in OpenOffice. If your Flash slide file has been converted using any other conversion mechanism then they probably won't work, AutoView is designed to work with the output from the OpenOffice converter.

Once you have added slides, make sure you set the correct number of slides in AutoView as well, or the next/back buttons won't work. AutoView is not able to read this information from the Flash file automatically.

The convert button is for a feature which has not yet been finished (it should be greyed out), it is intended to link up to a commercial document conversion service which we hope to offer in the future as a convenience to AutoView users, so that they can easily produce compatible slide sources.

There are two possibilities :

1) Something in your security settings is blocking javascript methods from accessing the Quicktime plugin. Does the position of the video change when you change the slide using the drop down box or < > buttons ? Try the presentation with Firefox if it works then you have a browser issue.

2) You ticked the 'event triggers' box when you added the video source. This is only needed if you did post processing on the video file to add slide triggers directly to the video. This is basically a legacy setting for our benefit so that videos that were made prior to Moodle module being written will still work with it.
