Hi,

This is a really cool module you guys have developed for moodle. Can someone tell me if they have had luck uploading slides exported using breeze presenter and if so what files to upload? Is it also a must to enable the document conversion option in php we are using php 5.1.4

Thanks for the help

Best Regards

Uday

What is breeze presenter and what type of file does it export ?

The document conversion service is a commercial addon which we will be providing in the near future, it is not obligatory.

Hi Tim,

Sorry for the delayed response. The Breeze presenter helps convert a ppt to flash slides just that it has a presenter swf file and the rest of the data is stored in xml and the recorded voice is stored as an mp3. Hope this information helps.

The XML data, assuming it contains the same sort of information that the AutoView XML file contains (ie data sources, slide trigger times etc) will need to be converted into the AutoView XML format. Feel free to write something to do this, but it's not something we'll be doing unless there is a huge demand for it.

The MP3 file ought to work with one of the standard plugins as an audio/video source.

If the flash file only contains the slide it might work in AutoView directly or possibly with minor tweaks. Otherwise you will need to reconvert the original ppt using openoffice.

Hi Tim,

Thanks very much for your response. I am sure the reason I am unable to get it to play is because Adobe Breeze has its own way of pulling the content from the xml and make them look as slides. I will try convert them to the auto view xml format else convert the ppt using open office. Thanks for all the help and this is really a very nice initiative you guys have taken up.

Best Regards
